I’ve seen red-eyed, blurry, out of focus and over exposed pictures before but this is fcuking ridiculous. In the history of all photos taken since the inception of the camera, this has to go down as the worst photo ever taken and will ever be taken.

    When you check for resolution using equalize in photoshop there is only bit distortion around the girls face. None even in the background, which means it has been conveniently masked out. Which is obvious. Great attempt at authenticity with the slight glare off the forehead and nose. But even black hair shines under flash photography.

    @ Bosco: you need to look up the racist in the dictionary.
    @ Aly up: it must be great being the only person in 1910 with an internet connection.

    The only way it is racist is when someone like you -who can’t stop talking about racism- points it out in everything they see. I’ve always heard “When you’re a hammer, everything looks like a nail.”

    Wow. Didn’t think you could find the dictionary. I guess when its parked up your rectum its easy to find. circa 1910, a backwards world where there are no civil rights for anyone except white men; blackface was at the peak of its popularity (your history book is probably in your colon).

    Nevermind the picture’s connection to a long history of blackface in the media. The pic is racist because its called “The Worst Photo Ever Taken – Maximum Fail”. Where you have a (gamut altered, possibly) photo of a extremely dark black man contrasted against an extremely white woman. One can infer that this is a depiction of “inherent differences” and casting judgment upon it as being extremely “inferior”.

    As far as the hammer and the nail analogy, when you have people in your family who have been chased out of states for being born “colored”, black men still being dragged to their deaths in Texas, and USDA official Shirley Sherrod being dismissed after being slammed in the media after being set-up on charges of “reverse racism” by conservative malice-blogger Andrew Breitbart, sometimes, you’re gonna see “nails”.

    I showed you the definition of racism and you didn’t answer the question- “How can this post and the caption below it be racist?” Who in the world uses a dictionary anymore? I said it’s the definition from dictionary.com. And I seriously doubt you have ever cracked a history book, given your ignorant comments so far.

    To “This picture IS racist”… FYI, the woman next to him.. isn’t Caucasian… and even if she was, she wouldn’t be what one would call the extreme end of pale either.

    Get a grip.

    It’s a bad photo because how it did turn out, not because the guy is black. I’ve seen a lot of ‘worst picture ever’ photos, and some are pretty bad, and not having to do with race, but having to do with the ultimate turn out of the photograph. Be it poor light levels making people impossible to see so they look like a bunch of disembodied eyes floating in the darkness… or people who made a terrible face just as the pic was being taken.

    Some people just need something to gripe about, or they’re not fulfilled in life… I think, with all due respect… you are that type of person
