I find this very offensive.

Every culture has good looking & not so good looking people, and honestly I think some of these women look fine in the before photos. It’s not a crime to change the way you look using makeup and cosmetics because you think it makes you look better. Not to mention that some of the before photos are taken with bad lighting and are being compared with model/edited/different angled shots as “afters”. Also realize that having a different hairstyle in each photo also changes the way they look. You may be naturally pretty but before insulting others please have some consideration on the way that they feel.

I think the 13th picture is actually two different girls. The nose looks smaller o_o It’s amazing what makeup can do. Those with died hair and color lenses are definilty ridiculous: soory to say it that way, but NO, they CANNOT be pretty with something that is artificial on them. Aren’t they proud of who they are, of their origins? Forget about stupid women magazines: an Asian girl with fake hair color is as artificial as a western girl with blue or pink hair (since they could never have it naturally). How could it be pretty with something that is merely none of their beauty criterai?

How come so many think that they should “whiten” themselves to be pretty? An Asian girl is beautiful in an “Asian way”, an African girl in a “African way”, and so on. Hey, white girls eyes can look pretty bad without makeup too. I have to say that with makeup white girls eyes can be stunning, but without sometimes they just look either scary or just shapeless. My favorite eye shape is white girl with eyes that aren’t too big, I think it’s pretty.
I am half asian. My boyfriend usually begs me not to put makeup on unless we are going out at night because I take too long. Most people say they can’t tell when I put makeup on or say “you dont wear makeup, do you?” and I get pissed off because it takes me forever. I’m still an amateur at how to put makeup on but I am slowly learning.

These before and afters are not different people! I know for a fact because I’m Korean, and I use the techniques that the girls above are using. Combine hours of makeup and hair with lighting, the right angle and a touch of photoshop and voila – a legitimately different person stands before you!

- Taking photos from a higher angle / Angling their face downwards and looking upwards. It will make the eyes appear bigger, and the chin and nose smaller.

- Turning their face sideways to make their face appear thinner.

- Using flash / photoshop to make the skin look smoother and erasing eyebags and wrinkles

- Using hair to cover up flaws. Like a fringe to hide a large forehead. Or in #15 case, using the hair on the sides to cover up her wide jawline and make her face appear thinner.

Seriously, there are tons of other tricks, other than make-up, to make people appear great in photos.

For everyone who is saying you can’t change the size of your nose or your eyes.. YES YOU CAN. It’s called highlighting and contouring. Blush, contour, highlighting, eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara.. all of the previous can be used to create larger cheekbones, larger eyes, and smaller noses. P.s. This is not surprising, most of the asian girls and women I know look like that without makeup and they take 2+ hours to get ready in the morning. White and non-asian women in general wear a lot less and you can actually see their natural facial features for what they are. Obviously, there are exceptions, but in the case of asian women, the exception is the one NOT caked in makeup and fake nails, eyes, boobs, etc. With other races of women, it’s the other way around.

I thought everyone knew this, everyone I know knows this, so the shocked reactions are surprising to me.

Well, most white girls don’t use eyelid tape or circle contacts, which is what many of these East Asian girls do for their “wide eyed” look. We may do eye makeup & occasionally some of us may put on false eyelashes for special occasions, but we don’t go to such lengths as these women do to make our eyes look different. I have to say, I think most of these women are cute with AND without the makeup. Their post-makeup anime look IS terribly cute. But it’s kind of sad that cartoonishly big, round – & lets’ face it – more Caucasian looking eyes seems to be their goal.

I also know now why people increasingly think my almond shaped yet wide eyes with defined lids look a bit East Asian (note – I have a fully Euro heritage) – it’s because they’ve seen a lot of East Asian chicks who do these tricks for wider looking eyes. I don’t do those tricks those; just a little eyeliner gives me a similar look (minus the fake huge irises).

Some of these photos look natural and fine without any make-up on (although some ppl do over-do-it) but then again, I can completely understand why these girls or girls in general (not matter what race) would want/need to apply make-up. Make-up boosts their self-confidence and I can totally relate to that. I would certainly be lying if I denied this. For me, I don’t always wear make-up, only to special occasions but I notice that people seem to treat people who are good-looking or pretty better in comparison to someone who wasn’t physically attractive (appearance). Also, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with wearing make-up. If people feel happy and are fine with the use of make-up then so what? Don’t bag them. And the creepiest thing is that v-roller that supposedly makes your face shape into a V. HOW SCARY IS THAT. Do not want.

        No offense, but Asian acne issues are widely publicized in Dermatology journals and and in Asian based internet forums; being Asian myself and involved in Dermatology I know this personally. The “guest” commenter is correct though, numerous Asian women wear copious amounts of lighter shaded concealer (as seen in the articles examples) to cover up poor skin, but then again don’t most teenage girls. The “brown skinned spanish guy” is just unaware or ignorant of reality if he thinks that they have “very beautiful natural skin”. Most of their beautiful natural skin gets left on my pillow case…yuck

What a stupid and ignorant article. Similar to “M_x” who posted before me, I’m an Asian girl as well and I know for a fact that stereotypes are imbedded all throughout this page. Although I’m sure there are people who do this in Asia, they (most of them at least) don’t do it “to deceive their prospective husbands” or whatever crap phrase was used above; they do it to improve upon their looks like EVERY OTHER WOMAN OUT THERE WHO OWNS MAKEUP. I’m 100% Asian and I do not wear this crazy amount of make up. Even when I’m in a rush and don’t put on make up, I still get compliments on how I look. It’s sucks that these girls gives all the rest of us asian girls a rep that we are ugly without make up on. What if one of those Asian girls kidnapped a White baby? Her makeup mask would allow her to disguise herself, as the White baby’s mother! This is deception, that can be used to hurt other people. It was explained to me, that the market demand from fair-skinned women isn’t big enough. So if you are White, you may have to mix your own makeup colours, to look good wearing it. White skin is delicate. It cannot withstand as much makeup as darker skin. Cosmetics counter ladies complain about women purchasing makeup way too light for their complexions. These often seem to be East Asian women, doing that. Whenever I see an East Asian woman wearing makeup, it suspect that there’s a completely different person underneath. They go from Mongoloid to animation character. But White women usually use makeup to look like healthier, younger and brighter versions of themselves. I wish this wasn’t so, but it is. God bless you.

Am I the only one who thinks that some of the after pictures are cute? =/ I guess I’m desensetized to it. I listen to a lot of Asian music and it’s really not a big deal to me. Just look at rising Japanese model/singer/blogger, Kyary Pyamu Pyamu! She’s uber cute. Yeah she probably wears layers upon layers of make up and looks like the majority of these girls here, but I still think she is adorable.

I also just want to say that I bet tmost of the Asian girls who are saying “I don’t do that!” are not living in Asian countries. I’m not saying all teens/young girls in Asian countries do this and that Asians in non-Asian countries don’t, but I think girls do this more there than over at Western countries. It’s big. It’s fashion. It’s trendy.

I posted videos on YouTube exposing East Asian: Before and After images. They were deleted each time, but not by YouTube. I have Norton security, so East Asian hackers haha. East Asians so insecure, they have to change all their looks and then lie to everyone that it’s natural. Then, when you try to warn other people with the truth, those East Asians try their dirty hacking tricks. Humanity, what hope is there. Be careful when you see advertising and the East Asians have fake eyes that they try to make bigger than every other race’s. And bleached skin that they try to make lighter than Whites. haha. If you write the truth about them, they abuse you by calling you names. They should be trying to reveal the truth too, not covering it up, if they were good. Scary thing is, East Asians are the biggest ethnic group in the world and seem to have internet access in bigger numbers than everyone else. Fight back against their scam with knowledge, if you care. I think it’s because people judge what is beautiful by European standards – big eyes and sharp features to most people – and as a result some Asians have gone overboard with trying overcompensate for this because the majority of us don’t have these features. It’s actually created an entire culture based on anime and manga where girls try to look like these cartoon characters on a daily basis.
So I guess while I agree it’s extremely unnatural looking and personally makes me uncomfortable looking at people who have gone to such extremes to change the way they look, you can’t fault people for trying to improve their looks and who are just trying to conform to the ‘ideal beauty’ touted by the media. Wouldn’t you want to look good in the eyes of the rest of the world too?

A minority race, Asians are a very large majority race moron. White people make up less than 10% of the world and the white they are trying to look like even less. White women are not getting eye surgury and nose jobs and coloured contacts, or using chemical whiterners obsessed with red and blonde hair. These are natural features of westerners, when other races try and perform “racial transformation” it just looks freakish and alien like.

the eyes. Having bigger eyes is every girl’s dream and it can now be
realised through a simple operation in which a small incision is made
above the eye to create an artificial double lid.

“Koreans are born with small eyes, wide and flat faces, and flat, low
noses,” says Kim. “What they would like are larger eyes, narrower and
more oval-shaped faces, and higher and narrower noses.”

Asians are increasingly asking their surgeons for wider eyes, longer noses and fuller breasts—features not typical of the race. To accommodate such demands, surgeons in the region have had to invent unique techniques. The No. 1 procedure by far in Asia is a form of blepharoplasty, in which a crease is created above the eye by scalpel or by needle and thread; in the U.S., blepharoplasty also ranks near the top, but involves removing bags and fat around the eyes. Likewise, Westerners use botox, or botulinum toxin, to diminish wrinkles—while in Korea, Japan and Taiwan, botox is injected into wide cheeks so the muscle will atrophy and the cheeks will shrink.

Just as Asian faces require unique procedures, their bodies demand innovative operations to achieve the leggy, skinny, busty Western ideal that has become increasingly universal. Dr. Suh In Seock, a surgeon in Seoul, has struggled to find the best way to fix an affliction the Koreans call muu-dari and the Japanese call daikon-ashi:
radish-shaped calves. Liposuction, so effective on the legs of plump Westerners, doesn’t work on Asians since muscle, not fat, accounts for the bulk. Suh says earlier attempts to carve the muscle were painful and made walking difficult. “Finally, I discovered that by severing a nerve behind the knee, the muscle would atrophy,” says Suh, “thereby reducing its size up to 40%.” Suh has performed over 600 of the operations since 1996. He disappears for a minute and returns with a bottle of fluid
containing what looks like chopped up bits of ramen noodles. He has preserved his patients’ excised nerves in alcohol. “And that’s just since November,” he says proudly.

The cultural quirks of the plastic surgery business in Asia also extend to sexuality. In China, Korea and Indonesia, where virginity is highly prized, young women go in for hymen reconstruction in time for their wedding night. In Japan, Indonesia and Korea, men ask for penis-enlargement procedures, in part to avoid shame when bathing en
masse. In Thailand, with its sizable population of so-called “lady boys,” a thriving industry has sprung up to provide male-to-female sex-change operations.

It’s most definitely true that every woman of every race puts on make up to enhance their beauty. Some even going so incredibly far that when you DO manage to see them without makeup it’s just like “holy shet! who dafuq are you!?” But the change I have seen with SOME Asian girls when they do their makeup is just so drastic, if it were possible my mind would literally be blown. Like the girl on the 12th photo. When I first saw her video on Youtube…I just had no words. Like WTF is this witchery.
And as for “deceiving guys blah blah blah” nonsense, if in this day and age you don’t realize that someone who’s wearing makeup could end up looking ENTIRELY different than you would have imagined without the make up…Then I prithee to open thy eyes and I welcome you to the real world. Fucking hell, there are so many chicks that get fake tits and asses these days, how does seeing a girl without make up surprise you THAT much. If it does, you’re probably too focused on their looks and not enough on their personality or else it really wouldn’t matter AS much. :/
