My friend Justin Riray & I were just talking about winning/failing in basketball. If you miss 9 shots the entire game, but make the game winning shot, no one will remember you as the pathetic loser who had a 10% accuracy rate. They will only remember the SUCCESS you had because it was so pivotal.
It’s the same thing if, maybe not exactly, if you MADE 9 out of 10 shots, but MISSED the game winning shot. Everyone remembers you “let down” the team… As if you scoring a 1/3 of the team’s points by yourself meant nothing.
