You dont have any idea what you are talking about. Do you follow the news? They switched to US dollars long ago and have a low inflation rate. Lower than the UK.

I’m from South Africa, and we hear a lot of stories from Zim. It’s cheaper to wipe your ass with money than it is to buy toilet paper, however it’s illegal to wipe your ass with notes!

And by law you are only allowed to walk around with a certain amount of money (not sure how much), but it’s less than the cost of toothpaste.

And most of this could potentially end if they vote for a new president….however, they don’t have the cash to host a new election

@mutare I heard that but not just the US dollar but gold in some places

They use the dollar for transactions, and the euro and the rand…and the pula and the pound sterling…but they didn’t switch to the US dollar…
The currency have the word ‘dollar’ in the currency but so does Australia, and most probably some other countries…
And the don’t have a “low inflation”, they have something called n HYPERINFLATION : “Inflation rose from an annual rate of 32% in 1998, to an official estimated high of 11,200,000% in August 2008 according to the country’s Central Statistical Office”

Yeah, even Hong Kong have “dollars”.
