How Awesome Is Charles Bukowski’s Hangover Story?

Charles Bukowski is a man amongst men, a writer, a poet, a drunk, a womanizer, a man who tells it like it is and pulls no punches. Listen to his hangover story and be in awe of the awesomeness that is Charles Bukowski.

If you like this, you MUST read “The History of One Tough Mother-F*cker.” Of course, the real title puts a “U” where my * is, but I didn’t want the comment to be denied for profanity. “The History” is a poem that’s both heartwarming and vulgar and enlightening (I know, three things don’t constitute a “both…”) and I recommend it to EVERYBODY, not only fans.

Am I the only person who has been to this site, or simply the only person who has commented on this story? Either way, if anybody is out there, this is a link to the poem I referenced below. If you’re not into literature, go ahead and read this before you swear off all poetry. You won’t be disappointed (unless you don’t like Bukowski, in which case you might hate it, and poetry might not be right for you).

PS-This site sometimes has pop-ups. They’re never harmful, but they’re annoying as hell. Click the link anyway.
