6 Weeks Sober

I’m 6 weeks sober. No booze, no drugs, no smoking…something I haven’t been able to freely proclaim since 1999. And although I miss certain aspects of the partying lifestyle, I wouldn’t ever trade it in for the clear minded sanity of sobriety. 6 weeks in, I feel fresh, as if I had put myself through a laundry machine and have come out clean and renewed. I’m ready to finally start the life that I always wanted to live. I’m finally ready to pursue dreams, achieve my goals and fulfill my ambitions without the distractions that have so plagued me in the past. ‘I feel fcuking good!’ and I can finally and proudly say that without attributing it to drugs or alcohol.
