6 Weeks Sober

March 2, 2012 | 3 Comments » | Topics: Motivation

I’m 6 weeks sober. No booze, no drugs, no smoking…something I haven’t been able to freely proclaim since 1999. And although I miss certain aspects of the partying lifestyle, I wouldn’t ever trade it in for the clear minded sanity of sobriety. 6 weeks in, I feel fresh, as if I had put myself through a laundry machine and have come out clean and renewed. I’m ready to finally start the life that I always wanted to live. I’m finally ready to pursue dreams, achieve my goals and fulfill my ambitions without the distractions that have so plagued me in the past. ‘I feel fcuking good!’ and I can finally and proudly say that without attributing it to drugs or alcohol.

For anyone dealing with addiction or know anyone dealing with addiction, check out this powerful Craig Ferguson monologue about sobriety. It’s one of those rare things that has the ability to change your life.

You know I found this site somewhat randomly (honestly hiding from reality) and I have to say that the combination of humor, inspiration, hot women, inspiration (yep said it twice), and jokes is great.  Congrats to you on your sobriety and thanks for posting this clip.  Keep it up!
