Those of us who are hearing impaired enjoy it regularly. For instance, once many years ago, TBS was *showing* a Steven Segal movie but the caption track was “My Girl” (yup, the one with Macaulay Culkin). I had the sound completely off, and the image on the screen was Segal is looking at the bad guy, and the subtitle read “You look sad. I could give you a kiss” and later, when the bad guy is in the house he finds Segal’s message “FEAR OF DEATH IS WORSE THAN DEATH ITSELF” the caption read “Reading poetry”. When he’s breaking his arm, the captions say something about singing a little song. Fun stuff.

    Best caption ever, though: http://goo.gl/v4AJJ
