    The Wright Bros. machine that flew at Kitty Hawk had no tail and no landing gear. Whoever posted that needs to go back to school for a few years. Embarrassing.

    Definitely no the Wright Flyer of 1903. That version had the pilot laying on the lower wing, on his belly, and had skids, rather than wheels, for landing.
    That one looks more like the Curtiss Golden Flyer circa 1909. Funny, since Curtiss was an early competitor and later purchaser of the Wright company.
