    lets see if people can insert their own (usually political) narrative into this:

    people on this website usually treat me like shit, but i still like going to this site.
    these photo’s are the right way to give people props, motivation and inspiration. not that daily man up shite (usually). i am trying to make my own transformation, and whilst i have been working hard and long on it i am not very motivated because i feel like the results leave something to be desired to put it mildly. i am fucking struggling, but i will keep going. i cant give up. i’d like a healthy life sooner or later.

    why am i saying this here ? i am hoping for the rare (on this website)

    commenter who IS reasonable and DOES say positive shit.

      Stop focusing on the results. It’s kinda like that saying, “a watched pot never boils”. Put in the effort because it’s the right thing to do and to prove that you can. Keep pushing.

      Let the results come in their own time.

      You can do this.

      I’m with lippy — put “results” on the back burner; try to focus on the process and your real goal, which is healthiness. Because, PLEASE, don’t get so anxious for the dramatic “after” photo that you do things to speed up the process (i.e., drugs) — we’ve lost some good people in this world that way! You know what they say about slow and steady. Try to do something to make exercise a more palatable part of your life — if you haven’t already, make a playlist of some of your favorite, upbeat songs to be the soundtrack to (or distraction from) your workouts or even just your walk to work or whatever. Try to break any TV habit you might have — and, if there’s something you really don’t want to give up, maybe try only letting yourself watch it while you are on an exercise bike or something.

      Not sure what kind of transformation you are making, but what I can tell you is the most effective thing you can do is be consistent. There will be days that you don’t want to train, etc- that’s ok, but good day or bad, get out there and do it anyway. Putting yourself through those 6/10 sessions are what makes you appreciate the 9/10 and 10/10 sessions more. The path will take you as far as you want to go as long as you choose to travel it. All the positive talk and motivation are nothing without your action. We can encourage you, but it is up to you to put in the work.

      Don’t get so caught up in the results and most importantly, don’t forget to enjoy the journey.

        enjoying the journey is the problem lol. i hate exercising and eiting moderate amounts of healthy food, but i gotta do what i gotta do. i see your point. thnx bro.

          do jiu-jitsu. it’s the most incredible work out you will ever do and it becomes a lifestyle. It’ll transform your body and mind.
