A 19-year-old Rent-A-Car employee over in Arnold, Missouri thought slipping the acid into his co-workers’ drinks would ‘remove negative energy’ around the car rental company’s workplace.

In an attempt to “mellow out” the other employees at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Arnold, Missouri, the man told police that he spiked three coworkers’ water bottles and coffee cups with LSD.

Things kinda went in the opposite direction though after two colleagues began feeling “became dizzy and shaky and didn’t know why,” and had to be rushed to hospital.

Those workers, ages 24 and 23, were taken to a hospital, the Jefferson County Leader reported, and their 27-year-old manager called police.

The car rental office manager told police that the 19-year-old man was “acting weird” and that she saw him holding a small dropper and messing with her water jug as well as the drinks of her other colleagues. She didn’t drink from the container, but, for some reason, didn’t inform the other employees about the 19-year-old’s bizarre behavior. It was only when two of her co-workers reported feeling dizzy and shaky that she realized he may have put something in their drinks.

According to a police report obtained by the Jefferson County Leader, the man admitted to lacing his co-workers’ drinks with LSD because “they were too uptight, and they needed to have better energy”.

The offender has not been charged yet, as police are waiting for the lab test results, but he faces charges of second-degree assault and possession of a controlled substance.
