Here’s another on of those palm-sweat inducing videos of crazy Russian kids risking their lives on incredibly tall infrastructures to gain a bit of internet notoriety. There’s a fine line between stupidity and insanity and they have run, skipped and jumped way past that line.

If you’re afraid of heights, skip this video and run as far away from this video as possible. It’s an acrophobiac’s worst nightmare and it’s the boogeyman that hides under their beds.

The Aokigahara Forest is the most popular site for suicides in Japan. After the novel Kuroi Jukai was published, in which a young lover commits suicide in the forest, people started taking their own lives there at a rate of 50 to 100 deaths a year. The site holds so many bodies that the Yakuza pays homeless people to sneak into the forest and rob the corpses. The authorities sweep for bodies only on an annual basis, as the forest sits at the base of Mt. Fuji and is too dense to patrol more frequently.

I well aware that the internet consist mostly of feline loving individuals and posting anything to the contrary could have undesired consequences, but I’ll admit it, I’m a dog person through and through and this video sums up nicely why I’m a dog person.
