33-year-old gang member Zachary Castaneda has been taken into custody in the stabbing spree that has left 4 random people dead and 2 injured in Orange County
Police say Castaneda robbed more than half a dozen businesses and stabbed 6 random citizens during a two-hour wave of violence.
He was arrested as he came out of a 7-Eleven in Santa Ana, dropping a knife along with a handgun that he had taken from a security guard he just killed.
The video below posted on Facebook by the Garden Grove Police Department Thursday shows Castaneda unleashed his fury on an innocent woman at an insurance office. She fought back and survived.
Here is footage of him being arrested:
OC stabbing frenzy suspect Zachary Castaneda refused to go to court for his arraignment today. Instead he pleaded not guilty from his jail cell. We’re told his attorney is known to represent members of the Mexican Mafia. Some of his tattoos are associated w/ the gang. @KNX1070 pic.twitter.com/En7UVCruTV
