The driver, identified as “Dasher Corey,” was recorded dropping off the family’s dinner at the home of Texas woman Lacey Purciful. Instead of expressing gratitude for the tip, Corey berated the customer, leading to an exchange filled with profanity. In the video shared on TikTok, Corey is seen almost dropping Purciful’s pizza as she thanks him enthusiastically for the delivery, despite his rude response. Purciful, a military veteran recovering from injuries sustained in a previous accident, relied on DoorDash to feed her family during her rehabilitation. She revealed that the Pizza Hut Corey picked up the order from was just six miles away from her home. To demonstrate her fair tipping practices, Purciful shared a receipt from another delivery made earlier that day, wherein she tipped a different driver nearly 60% on a $17 bill.
