Q* (pronounced “Q-star”) is described as an alleged unreleased project by OpenAI, focusing on the application of artificial intelligence in logical and mathematical reasoning.
As of November 2023, there were reports suggesting that certain OpenAI employees raised concerns to the company’s board, indicating that Q* might represent a significant advancement towards the development of artificial general intelligence (AGI).
Good floor spacing means those teams have shooters who can shoot the 3 very well forcing defenders to stick closer to them and further away from the paint/rim
It does not necessarily mean shooting above league average from three; volume is just as important as percentage. If a player shoots well from three but only manages 1-2 attempts per game despite being always wide open they are not a floor spacer.
Rajon Rondo is an example of this. Also doesn’t have to be restricted to 3PT shooting if it concerns big men; Nikola Jokic is a top notch floor spacer.
Good spacing makes it difficult for defenders to play help defense.

In a way its similar to training any other animal – training your dog to not pee/poop in the house, but to bark or wait patiently by the door to be let out into the yard.
Its an adjustment from their young colt/foal/pup/kitten carefree days of doing whatever to having to follow rules.
“Breaking” is a holdover term from when they’d rustle up wild horses, so the sudden adjustment to wearing a halter, bridle or saddle – let alone having someone ride on their back – was a rude and unwelcome development and they’d buck and generally have a huge tantrum.
