My wife has a temper problem. Only gotten worse after our second baby was born. We have been married for a long time.. And have two kids. She can get worked up over trivial things and end in screaming, slamming doors etc breaking things including furniture. Throwing my clothes on the floor.

She has never accepted responsibility or apologized for this behavior and any suggestion she had such a problem and to seek help will only end up in another screaming situation.

I probably should have left her long ago. It’s not always been bad though. We have two kids and a mortgage.. And I don’t know what to do.

I got married recently, and what should have been one of the happiest days of my life ended up being clouded by something I still can’t quite believe happened. Right before the ceremony, I was in the backroom collecting myself—nerves, excitement, all of it. Out of nowhere, my mom burst in and started yelling at me about something completely inconsequential. I honestly don’t even remember what it was about—just that it made no sense for that moment and felt so out of left field. I was stunned and tried to de-escalate things as quickly as I could, but the whole experience threw me off.

Then, a couple days later, she tells my other family members that I yelled at her. That I was disrespectful on my wedding day. I was floored. Not only did she cause a scene and inject unnecessary drama into an already emotional day, but now she’s rewriting the story to make herself the victim.

I’m a 28-year-old man who’s recently committed to getting fit after years of unhealthy habits. My wife, 30, and I both fell into a sedentary lifestyle during our six years together. But five months ago, I decided to turn things around. I’ve dropped my body fat from 30% to 19% and set a goal of reaching 10%.

I’ve also taken up long-distance running. I started at 5 miles, then 10, and now 15. I’m aiming for 20 miles soon. But whenever I share these goals with my wife, she brushes them off as “unrealistic.” She’s never acknowledged my progress or offered encouragement. My 18-year-old daughter has been dating a 51-year-old man for two months. My husband and I strongly disapprove of the relationship—not just because of the age gap, but because he’s older than either of us and we fear she’s being manipulated.

When we confronted her, things escalated. She moved out and is now living with him. We tried involving local authorities, but were told there’s nothing they can do since she’s legally an adult.
