A few weeks ago, my boyfriend claimed he completed a full marathon in an impressive time, under four hours. Since we started dating six months ago, this marathon had been a huge topic between us. I watched him train, helped him fundraise, and supported him emotionally the entire way.

On race day, I could not attend in person, so I asked for his bib number so I could track him online, while my parents went to cheer him on. When I tried tracking him, his name was nowhere to be found. At first I assumed he was registered under the charity name, so instead I used Find My iPhone to follow his location and update my parents.

I’m 26 and my wife is 21. We’ve been together almost 3 years and married for over a year. From the beginning, my mother never liked my wife. At first I thought maybe it was because she was young, but now she’s my wife and nothing has changed.

We recently moved and my mother came to visit our new house for the first time. My wife was exhausted but still cooked dinner and even baked my mother’s favorite cake. She was genuinely excited for the visit and smiling the whole time. But my mother barely acknowledged her. She only talked to me and never smiled back at my wife. During dinner, my mother even stopped eating once she realized my wife had cooked the food.

My friends and I share locations with each other, and for me it’s something that makes me feel connected to the people I care about. A lot of my close friends share locations and it’s always just been normal in my friendships.

One of my closest friends was at first uncomfortable sharing her location with me when I asked. After a lot of conversations and convincing she eventually agreed to turn it on for me.

My wife died suddenly when our daughter was 2. I was drowning and I knew I could not raise her the way she deserved, so my late wife’s sister stepped in. She eventually adopted my daughter and moved to Europe with her. For years my daughter came to visit during the summers, but those visits have become less and less frequent. Now my sister in law says she will not send her here because of concerns about the current administration. She offered discounted hotels if we wanted to visit instead, but for a family of six, flights and food alone make the trip impossible.

I’m divorcing my wife after multiple affairs, and once we figure out the finances, I’ll be moving out and getting my own place. We have two sons together. Our youngest just turned 4, and our oldest will be 6 soon.

I don’t know how I’m supposed to tell them that I won’t be living with them anymore. My oldest is incredibly intelligent, observant, and sensitive. He looks at me like I’m a superhero, and I’m terrified he’s going to feel abandoned or think I don’t want to be with him anymore.

It is not anything massive yet, just small things, and I do not know if my gut feeling is off or if it is worth intervening.

He follows this weird “women’s red flags and cheating signs” page, as well as one influencer who duets women complaining about men. Instead of responding to what they are saying, the influencer just picks on their looks. It feels weird and mean spirited for no reason.

Okay, so I’ve been dating this girl for about a year. She recently made a new group of friends that I have not met and it includes several guys. One of the guys in this group asked her if she would have dinner with him just as friends. He knows she’s dating me. They went out to dinner and split the bill. She said he didn’t hit on her.

I’m completely against the situation, I think it’s too easy to turn into a bad situation. If they had known each other for a long time i would feel differently. Am I being too jealous?

My fiancée and I have been together for three years, but lately the relationship feels more like a friendship than a romantic partnership. I’ve brought it up several times because something feels off emotionally and physically. We barely kiss, rarely have sex, and I’m almost always the one initiating affection. She loves hugging and caring for me in practical ways, but intimacy feels almost completely absent.

When I try to explain this, she tells me she loves me and says she wouldn’t treat her friends the way she treats me. But that misses the point for me. I know there are different kinds of love, and what I’m feeling from her no longer feels romantic or passionate. It feels safe and caring, but not intimate.

My husband and I are expecting our first baby later this year after trying for a long time. He’s finishing a career training program and was offered a rare instructor course that could seriously help his future career. It’s considered the best and fastest path, but the training happens during the exact week our baby is due and would require him to travel out of state for a full week.

He told me he’d let me decide, but also admitted he’d probably feel resentment if he missed the opportunity.
