I am 43 and have been married to my husband for six years. I have a 17 year old son from a previous marriage who is still in high school.

My husband recently told me that he is “not going to raise an adult” and plans to give my son 30 days to move out once he turns 18. My son does not have a job yet, and again, he is still in high school.

My husband says kicking him out will “build character.” I told him absolutely not. Now he says I am babying my son.

I got married earlier this year. Long story short, we had been back and forth for a few years and I finally knuckled down and pushed through my doubts and issues because I trusted it would work out and be a positive step for me. Now that I’m in the middle of it, I keep having major triggers and it’s feeding some deep regret and leading me into a depression.

My oldest brother is in his 50s and hasn’t worked consistently in close to 20 years. He lives alone, rent free, in my mom’s second home, which she used to rent out for extra income.

He pays for nothing. My mom covers the mortgage, utilities, his phone bill, his cars, his food, and basically every other necessity.

After my dad died a few years ago, my brother convinced my mom to buy him a new car so he could DoorDash. He already had a paid off car that she had just spent $5,000 fixing for him.

Once men have ubiquitous access to sex with their own versions of 10/10s, the current humiliation rituals of jestering for women (expecting to be the one to approach/ask out), achieving success, being “extroverted”, caring about women’s political opinions etc will all be obsolete.

I recently got a new car after going to a dealership for a promotion. I traded in my old car, and they gave me $3,000 toward the new one.

I was at the dealership for hours, pushing back on the price. Eventually, I got tired and made the decision to take the deal. I got too hasty and signed the contract without double checking everything before I walked out the door.

I didn’t get the price I wanted. The used car was listed around $42,000, which was already getting close to what it would cost new at about $55,000. After everything that was added to the deal, the total came out to around $73,000.

I’m 39M, and I have my daughter, “Rose,” 9F, every other weekend, from Friday after school until Monday morning. My ex wife has her the majority of the time.

Rose has been diagnosed with ADHD. Parenting her can be difficult. I still have to monitor her closely, make sure she finishes her homework before watching TV, repeat myself because she doesn’t always listen, and be extremely patient with her. My ex and I also split the cost of a math tutor because Rose has trouble focusing in class.

I’m a 20 year old guy, and I was raised to treat women with respect, honesty, and basic decency. I don’t see women as objects or as something to chase for validation. That’s just how I am.

But online, it feels like treating women well gets labeled as “simping.” Somehow being genuine or caring is seen as weak or uncool, and I don’t really understand it.

At the same time, I see a lot of people my age hooking up or sliding into random DMs because they’re insecure or looking for validation. Maybe it makes them feel better for a little while, but it seems like a temporary fix that can mess with your head in the long run.

My wife and I have a toddler, and my wife recently had a miscarriage. Our toddler was with us at the ultrasound when we got the bad news. My wife was devastated, but she immediately tried to protect our daughter from what was happening. She told her not to worry and promised that instead, we would take her to a theme park she loves. My wife pushed through the whole experience without really showing her grief.

Afterward, she went through multiple rounds of medication that did not work, then eventually needed surgery. The surgery happened during the week we were supposed to go on a beach vacation with my family, so we had to cancel that trip.
