How Did Germany De-Radicalize Its People After The Fall of The Nazi Party?

(Force confrontation: German soldiers react to footage of concentration camps, 1945.)
The process of denazification and the trials of various war criminals in Germany was enormous. The Nazi party had 8.5 million members by the end of the war. Somewhere in the region of 18 million people served in the German armed forces during the war, many of whom had committed atrocities and war crimes. 17.2 million people voted for the Nazi party in the 1933 election. Almost 22 million had been members of the German Labour Front, the Nazi replacement for the Trade Unions. Perhaps as many as 45 million individuals were members of or associated with organs of the Nazi party. As such, the process of denazification would have to be conducted on an epic scale.

“Girlfriend hasn’t paid for anything in 3 months”

I 35m have been dating a 38f for a little over 3 months.
On the 1st date she offered to split the bill. Since then we have gone out quite a but and she has never paid for anything. We have spent many whole weekends together and I don’t mind paying more than 50% but she has not offered to pay at all since the first date.
At one point she bought an rv and for 2 weekends I did work on it for her while we spent time together and thought it was a bit rude she didnt at least offer to buy lunch to show appreciation.

“I ghosted my boyfriend of three years”

Because it was the easiest thing for me to do.
He was not abusive. He didn’t cheat on me. He was loving and supportive and communicative and trusting our entire relationship. Probably one of the sweetest guys I’ve ever dated.
Unfortunately, he lost his job and became depressed and miserable to be around and I was no longer attracted to him. Meanwhile, I got a new, high pressure job after being miserable at my old one for five years and was dreading dealing with his issues. I wanted a new start. A really fun and attractive guy I’ve had a long-standing crush on showed interest in me and I went for it.
Sorry, Not Sorry: Why Over-Apologizing Is Hurting You (And How to Stop)

Today I want to talk about a habit that so many of us have fallen into without even realizing it: apologizing for everything, even when we’ve done nothing wrong.
You know what I’m talking about. You bump into someone and immediately blurt out “I’m so sorry!” even though they weren’t looking where they were going. Your boss gives you a new assignment and you respond with “Sorry, I’ll get on that right away!” as if the work is an imposition. Sound familiar?

Your Partner is Not a Mind Reader

Here’s the scenario: something’s bugging you in your relationship. Maybe you wish your partner would be more affectionate, or help out more around the house, or plan more date nights. Whatever it is, you haven’t told them directly. Instead, you just feel increasingly annoyed that they aren’t doing the thing you secretly want them to do. Sound familiar?

Do Pro Fighters Have To Register Their Hands As Weapons?

They don’t. The idea that professional boxers, or any other martial artists/combat athletes for that matter, are required to “register their hands as lethal weapons”, is a complete myth.
It’s a silly boast that some fighters use to exaggerate their own ability.

What Are The Pros And Cons of Joining The Military?

(photo: ResoluteSupportMedia)
Pros:
Three hots and a cot. Top grade training in whatever technical discipline you choose, assuming you score well on the ASVAB.
Decent pay. You won’t get rich, but if you use the brain your parents gave you and don’t exceed your means, you can save a bit of money and live a decent life.
