“Plastic surgery regret. I’ve never regreted anything more”

Total of 6 different procedures over a 4 year period: Leg Lengthing surgery to gain 13 cm / 5 inches in height. Jaw enhancement. Surgery to lengthen my left arm 5 cm / 2 inches. A complete set of veneers over my natural teeth. A hair transplant. Surgery to lengthen my right arm 5 cm / 2 inches.
I regret all of it. I thought my life would be better but none of it has changed a thing. I wasted so much time and am in so much debt.
After my right arm finished healing I took a trip to Miami for my birthday. It was my first ever international trip (not counting my going for any of my procedures). I thought I would have the time of my life at beaches and night clubs. But the trip was a bust.

The Hidden Cost of Trying Too Hard to Be Nice

Niceness is a quality we’re taught to cherish from a young age. Be nice to others, and they’ll be nice to you. Simple, right? But sometimes, being overly nice can cause more harm than good.
When you’re so focused on being nice that you avoid conflict, hide your true feelings, or fail to set boundaries, you’re not doing anyone any favors.

The Art of Helping Without Enabling

Listen up, because this is important: True help isn’t about solving someone’s problems for them. It’s about giving them the tools to solve their own problems.
We live in a world where it’s easy to fall into the trap of thinking that being helpful means doing everything for someone else. But here’s the uncomfortable truth: when we do that, we’re not really helping. We’re creating dependency.
“Boyfriend and I were mugged. He ran off and left me alone with mugger.”

Tuesday night boyfriend and I were out, he parked in an alley because it’s free. As we got to the car this tiny little homeless looking guy stepped out with a screwdriver and said something like “I’ll I need is a hit, me $20 and no one gets hurt.”
Boyfriend sprinted away. He didn’t Even look behind him so I was stuck with the mugger and since I had my phone only he rubbed his hands all over me while holding the screwdriver to my throat. He wasn’t getting off on it but it was still so traumatizing as he thought I was hiding money in my bra and underwear. I kept hoping that Ross would be coming back with the cops but nothing. The homeless guy eventually realized I had nothing and just left down the other end of the alley,

“Happily married and developed romantic feelings for co-worker.”

Hello, like the title says I (32M) am happily married, with two kids, have developed strong romantic feelings for a co-worker (27F, let’s call her Jessica) and don’t understand why I can’t get over this feeling.
First, I love my wife and kids. My wife is my best friend she’s smart, funny, sexy everything I want in a partner and mother to my children. I also love my kids, I’ve always wanted a family and watching them grow and learn is amazing.
A few years ago I met Jessica at work. I did initially notice she was attractive and we only began speaking months later due to work activities overlapping. As we got to know each other I found out Jessica was in a long term relationship and we became good work friends.

Why Financial Alignment is Crucial Before Marriage

Marriage is a beautiful journey, but let’s cut to the chase: it’s not all roses and champagne. One of the biggest stressors in any marriage is money. Yet, it’s often the least discussed topic before couples tie the knot. Here’s the hard truth: if you’re not aligned with your partner on finances before you get married, you’re setting yourself up for a world of stress and conflict.

Why ‘Finding a Way To Afford It’ Is Costing You

Let’s talk about a dangerous financial myth that’s costing you more than you realize: the belief that if you want something badly enough, you’ll magically find a way to afford it.
This idea is seductive. It tells us that our desires are more powerful than our financial realities. It whispers that we can have anything we want if we just want it badly enough. But here’s the cold, hard truth: your bank account doesn’t care how much you want something.
