During a sentencing hearing in a Las Vegas courtroom on Wednesday, a man violently attacked a judge after being denied probation. The incident, captured on video, showed the man, identified as Deobra Redden, 30, leaping over a courtroom bench and assaulting Judge Mary Kay Holthus.
The spokeswoman for the Eighth Judicial District Court, in a statement, detailed that Mr. Redden was present for his sentencing on charges of attempted battery with substantial bodily harm to which he had pled guilty.

He’s also had a few other petty crimes under his belt. As far as I knew that’s all it was. We’ve known each other for about 3 years, friends on and off. We got together 6 months ago and been engaged for about 3 months. It was one of those when you know you know moments between us. It was a fairy tale story. I have never felt so loved, cared for and supported mentally, emotionally, and physically in my life.
