I’ve been married to my wife (32F) for five years, and lately, I (33M) feel like I’ve lost any sense of freedom or privacy. It’s as though every day, she’s looking for something to be upset about, and I’m always walking on eggshells.

Take our finances, for example. While we share our money, we also have our own separate accounts. Yet, she logs into my account and questions every single purchase I make, even though we’re not struggling financially at all. I can’t bring myself to ask her about her spending habits because I’m afraid it will lead to a blow-up.

I 28(M), just had my partner 29(F) of 6 years tell me that she told another man “I love you”, let’s call him Tim.

Tim and my partner met at their workplace, they’ve grown very close over the last year. He’s professed his love for her in the past, but she has not said confessed anything to him in the past. Tim once again this weekend confessed his love and how this has affected him. After, they cried together, talked and held hands. She assures me nothing more has happened, and I fully believe her, we are very open with everything in our relationship.

A few days ago I was feeling really lonely and desperate for attention and that’s when I found out one of my favorite streamer was online. Keep in mind that I am a NEET and I have 0 friends and I was feeling extremely lonely. The streamer helped me feel better and made me laugh a couple of times and I wanted to show them appreciation by donating money, but I wanted to go big, because they really helped me feel better that day.

I donated $1000 and they reacted big and was really happy, but it was all done and over with within seconds. Like, 10 seconds later it’s completely forgotten about and that’s when I realized that I’m a complete idiot. I live in my parents basement and I’m definitely not that wealthy enough to be donating that big (I have $20k saved up), and I just wasted $1000 on a streamer just for that few seconds of attention that ended up not being worth it.

My (65F) daughter (37F) has been unemployed for over three years. She left her job during the pandemic and relied on the stimulus checks and the unemployment pay until it ran out. Now I don’t know what she is living on.

My daughter lives alone in a rent controlled apartment and has never asked me for money or help. But I don’t understand how she is supporting herself paying her rent, etc. as she has no job. I assume she is running through her savings and if she has lasted this long that means she had at least 40k saved and is just burning through it all.
