
We yearn for fairness. We crave justice, balance, a universe where merit is rewarded and bad deeds punished. But the truth is, the universe operates on a different set of principles. It’s a vast, chaotic dance of energy and matter, devoid of inherent morality or concern for our human concepts of fairness. This can be a difficult pill to swallow, especially when life throws us curveballs, doles out misfortune seemingly at random, and leaves us wondering, “Why me?”
