What Is the Psychology of Someone Who Feels They Are Unworthy of Love?

There’s a quiet, brutal story some people carry around like a second spine:
“I am not someone worth loving.”
They don’t always say it out loud. In fact, most of the time, they don’t even consciously think it. But it leaks out everywhere—in who they choose, what they tolerate, how they interpret silence, how they react to kindness. It’s not just a belief. It’s a lens. And once you’re looking through it, everything starts to confirm it.
Let’s talk about where that comes from—and why it’s so damn sticky.

I Lost 18 Years in a Thai Prison

I got arrested in 1994, just as I was about to board a flight out of Thailand. One minute I was through passport control, thinking I’d pulled it off, and the next, it was over. No drama, no chase scene. Just a quiet realization that whatever life I thought I was heading back to had just collapsed into something else entirely.
“Long time partner and baby daddy won’t marry me”

I’ve been with my boyfriend for over five years. We have a two year old together and have lived together the entire time. On the surface, everything is stable. We share a car, rent a house, and split utilities. Our life works.
The problem is that he won’t marry me.
We talk about the future a lot, and it’s clear he plans to stay with me, but marriage never seems to be part of that plan. Whenever I bring it up, he gets defensive or brushes it off. Sometimes he says things like “why don’t you just ask me” or that marriage is just a piece of paper. But to me, it means a lot more than that.

What Does A Catalytic Converter Do And Why Are They Constantly Being Stolen?

Burning fuel can produce several toxic gases. A catalytic converter is a device that takes those toxic gases and converts them into less toxic gases.
For example, it converts Carbon monoxide into Carbon Dioxide, and Nitric Acid into Nitrogen and Oxygen (and a few other reactions).
In order to do this, it needs some precious metals which act as catalysts for the reactions. These metals don’t get consumed, but their presence helps to trigger these reactions. A catalytic converter will contain Rhodium, Platinum, and Palladium.

What’s It Like To Have Dementia?

First, it helps to understand that dementia unfolds in stages: mild, moderate, and severe.
In the early, mild stage, life can feel almost normal until it doesn’t. It’s a bit like living with a constant mental fog. You can still go about your day and complete routine tasks, but small things slip through the cracks. You might put your shirt on backward and not notice. You might tear apart the kitchen looking for the sugar bowl, only to give up, leaving a mess behind, and later insist you never touched a thing. The memory simply isn’t there. When someone tells you otherwise, it can feel like they are lying.
“My fiancée and I are having the biggest argument of our lives.”

I don’t know if I’m going crazy, but my fiancée and I are having a huge argument. We are not even married yet and we have never fought like this before.
Where I’m from, engaged couples host a party before their wedding. Some people call it a social, a Jack and Jill, or a stag and doe. The whole point is to raise money. You rent a hall, people pay to get in, and there are raffles, games, or auctions. Family and friends donate prizes, bring food for a potluck, and alcohol is sold at the event.
