You came to behave badly. The city gave you a cheap room, a reasonably priced steak, a few free drinks, and the intoxicating possibility that you might go home richer than you arrived. Vegas understood that the best way to separate you from your money was to make the separation feel like fun.
That arrangement is dead.

I was 24 when I was offered more money than I had ever made in my life to become the live-in caretaker for a woman who weighed more than 600 pounds.
A friend of mine knew her family and recommended me because I already had experience as a caretaker. He told them I could be trusted. The family was extremely wealthy, and they were willing to pay an incredible amount of money as long as I agreed to live in the house and be available whenever she needed me.

“Am I being unreasonable?”
I’m 27M and have been dating my girlfriend, 25F, for about six months. Things have been going well, but we recently had an argument about boundaries, and now I’m wondering if I’m being unreasonable.
In my previous relationship, my ex and I agreed not to spend time one on one with friends of the opposite sex or maintain close friendships with them. She stopped talking to a few male friends she had previously hooked up with or who had expressed interest in her. She also limited nonwork conversations with male coworkers. The only male friend she remained close with was gay because neither of us saw him as a potential romantic threat.

An Indian man after fighting a leopard with bare hands, killing it, after it attacked his daughter and wife
Rajagopal Naik was riding home on a motorcycle with his wife, Chandramma, and their child, Kiran, when the leopard suddenly jumped out of the bushes. It bit Kiran’s leg and then tried to attack Chandramma.
Rajagopal grabbed the leopard by the neck and repeatedly struck its head with his elbow. Although the animal clawed his face and forehead while trying to escape, he refused to let go. He continued tightening his grip until the leopard suffocated.
Rajagopal was injured in the struggle but managed to save his wife and child.
Mad respect for this man. A leopard attacked his wife and daughter, and he fought it with his bare hands and somehow won. No weapon, no hesitation, just a father putting himself between his family and almost certain death. Whatever scars he carries, his daughter will grow up knowing her father was willing to give his life to save hers.
